Animal Foundation, our mission is to improve the welfare of stray and owned animals through spay/neuter programs, vaccination, medical treatment, and community education that empowers compassionate and responsible animal care, while expanding access to lifesaving care for pets in underserved communities.

WHY IT MATTERS
One unspayed dog and her offspring can lead to hundreds of unwanted animals over time. Sterilization programs help reduce suffering, starvation, disease, neglect, and abandonment before it starts.

Who we are
N.I.L.E. Animal Foundation was created after witnessing the overwhelming need for animal welfare support in Jinja, Uganda. What began as helping individual street dogs quickly grew into a deeper mission to offer more sustainable assistance for the neglected animal population in both Jinja city and the deeper villages.Founded by animal lovers with strong ties to both Uganda and the United States, N.I.L.E. believes lasting change begins with compassion, prevention, and working alongside local communities to improve the lives of both stray and owned animals.
